ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal that today is a special day for a special GH actress. Today Cynthia Watros, who plays Nina Reeves, turns 52 years young!

Watros debuted as Nina in 2019 and she quickly made the role of quirky, formerly comatose Nina her own. She took over the role from Michelle Stafford who left GH to return to The Young and the Restless as Phyllis Newman.
Watros is a Michigan native and she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Boston University. Over the years she has distinguished herself as a multitalented actress who can play comedy and drama in equal measure on both daytime and primetime.
In 1994 she debuted as Annie Dutton on Guiding Light and she earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1998 for her role as the conflicted and chaotic character.
In 2002 played Kellie on The Drew Carey Show and in 2005 debuted on Lost as Libby Smith. She also appeared on The Young and the Restless as well as Another World, in addition to credits on Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, Hawaii Five-O, The Closer, Criminal Minds, and many other prominent shows.

Watros has twin daughters, born in 2001, with her husband Curtis Gilliland. In 2008, the lovely and talented actress participated in a USO tour to Iraq where she visited several bases.

Right now Watros is in a front-burner storyline and slaying it as a tortured mom who is desperate to find the daughter she never knew. Her baby was taken from her at birth and all this time she has never given up hope of reuniting with her child.
It looks like it may be about to happen as her partner, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) has been on the trail and now thinks he has a good lead. Will Nina finally find her child or be disappointed? Many fans think it is clear that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is Nina’s long-lost daughter, but she has been fooled once in the past by an imposter, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
If Nelle is Nina’s daughter, there will be lots of drama to come as Nina turned against her in court, calling her an unfit mother!
