General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Frames Kai for Drew’s Shooting While Trina Faces Accusations?

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) might already be devising a strategy to tackle the danger posed by Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

With the knowledge that Trina and Kai are aware of her shooter secret, Willow is certainly feeling anxious.

Kai And Trina Hid In The Bedroom When Drew Was Shot

On that fateful night, Kai and Trina were present in the house, and they heard the familiar tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star while they were in the bedroom.

It wasn’t until much later that they connected the dots and realized it was Willow’s ringtone for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). They deduced that Willow must have been the one who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), yet she was acquitted in court.

Although Willow escaped legal consequences, she remains fearful of the truth surfacing, as it could jeopardize her Congressional seat and custody arrangements. This fear might be driving Willow to concoct a scheme to frame Trina and Kai as the guilty parties instead.

Kai Used His Key To Come In The House, And Picked Up The Baseball Bat, Leaving His Prints

Ultimately, that night, Kai used his key to enter the house. While he was there, he picked up the bat, leaving his fingerprints all over it. In the April 6 episode of GH, Willow mentioned that her chief of staff was pushing for new background checks on everyone in her office, including Kai.

This provided Willow with the perfect opportunity to ask Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) if he remembered Kai’s name being mentioned in the Drew shooting investigation.

Chase tends to be quite impressionable when it comes to Willow, so she might just give him the push he needs to seek out the truth about Kai. Will Chase eventually come to suspect that Kai could have been the one to pull the trigger?

Willow Could Easily Frame Kai, And Make Trina An Accomplice To Drew’s Shooting

In any case, Willow could cast a shadow of doubt over both Kai and Trina, making any accusations they might throw at her appear as if they are trying to deflect suspicion from themselves.

It’s possible that Willow will suggest that Trina enlisted Kai to help eliminate Drew for targeting her family. After all, Drew blackmailed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and threatened Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to keep him in check, giving Trina and Kai a strong motive to want Drew out of the picture.

It seems that the background check was probably a fabrication by Willow, a clever ruse to inquire about Kai.

 But if it turns out to be genuine, perhaps there’s something hidden in Kai’s past that could benefit Willow, even if it means orchestrating a false red flag with Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) assistance.
