General Hospital Spoilers: Will Valentin Become Carly’s Valentine in the Week Ahead?
General Hospital spoilers gossip Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been licking her wounds ever since she found out that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is nothing like the man she thought he was.
Everyone tried to warn her, but Carly thought she knew better, and somehow convinced herself that she would be the woman that would set this WSB agent straight.
The heartbreak that ensued when she learned the truth about who he is led her straight to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Partrick Stuart) cell at a Swiss prison, and it’s looking like it’s about to lead her even closer to the Cassadine casanova.
The chemistry between these two is heating up, and I have to wonder if they’re bound for a hook-up this Valentine’s Day.
It Wasn’t Supposed to Be This Way
This wasn’t a part of Carly’s plan. Jack was going to be so in love with her — more so than he has ever been with any other woman — that he would forgo his old ways of doing things and become a more altruistic man.
When Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) brought her the news that Jack had recruited Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB, that bubble burst. Valentin has been careful to keep Carly on her toes and continues to litmus test whether she might still be harboring feelings for Jack, but all of that may be about to change.
Valentin Has His Own Regrets
This week, Jason could spill the beans about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to Carly, and that may push her to tell Valentin what has transpired.
He’ll no doubt feel devastated, knowing he can’t help because he has to stay hidden at Carly’s lakehouse, but wishing he could run to Anna’s rescue.
Thus, his own feelings for his ex may come to light, but we may also start to see that Carly and Valentin could find comfort with each other that helps them put their feelings for their exes to bed.
February is for Lovers
Last week, the snowstorm stranded Valentin and Carly together without Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) running around.
A fireside chat, drinks, and one-on-one time to get to know each other better left Carly with a much different impression of who she thought Valentin was. Likewise, it seemed like Valentin was starting to find himself entertained by Carly’s company.
Alas, Jack arrived on the scene and poxed any plans for further camaraderie or companionship that night, but something tells me Carly might be spending Valentine’s with Valentin — not Jack.
