General Hospital Spoilers: Will Joss’ Penchant For Revenge Drive A Wedge into Carly’s Family Forever?
General Hospital spoilers report Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has a lust for revenge that just can’t be quenched. Her anger is boiling over and we got a good glimpse of that on Thursday as she really unleashed and let her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), have it.
She’s clearly upset that her mom didn’t divulge that she knew Joss was in the WSB, but Carly fired back the same retort.
More so, Joss clued her mother in on how she came to be an agent, and the life-changing — and life-ending — decision that drove her to it.
It sounds like all that anger and pain that brought her to avenging Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) death has been projected on other parties now, and Carly may be powerless to stop Joss’ intentions to destroy everyone around her — including Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
General Hospital Spoilers — She’s Not Wrong
Joss really let her rip when she told Carly how volatile it was growing up in her shadow. Watching her mother subject herself to repeatedly cruel treatment from Sonny was hard for a little girl to digest, and she clearly doesn’t think it’s the best dynamic for Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) to grow up in either.
So, it doesn’t sound like Joss would think twice about taking Sonny out if she had the shot. No pun intended.
GH Spoilers Say Sonny Isn’t the Only Mark
Sonny might be the head of hydra here, but he’s not the only alleged bad guy in the mix. Enter Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He was the one who came to Joss’ rescue at the Five Poppies Hotel.
Can she really turn against Jason now after all he’s done for her over the years? He’s never been anything but supportive, and it looks like she knows that, because Friday’s previews show her running to him to tattle on her mom and seek unity.
But Jason is loyal to no one above Sonny, so Joss has to know that Carly is going to rat her out to Jason too. Will Jason have to decide how to protect Sonny from Joss, while still protecting Joss in general?
General Hospital Spoilers — A Family Affair
Carly’s whole world is tethered to Sonny. It’s not as simple as just cutting the guy out thirty-plus years into their relationship. They’ll always be tied together by their children, and their shared history.
Co-parenting with him means Carly will never forsake Sonny and his business. Doing so would leave her kids vulnerable to attack. But Joss isn’t thinking that clearly.
She wants revenge for the years of pent-up frustration she faced from her mob boss stepdad, and who can blame her? It sounds like everyone will have to hunker down and pick a side here as this war wages on.
