General Hospital Spoilers: While Laura is Away, Sprina Could Be Slayed
General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) are away in Russia, and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has her eyes set on breaking up Sprina for good. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will lament about Esme within earshot of Portia. It’s going to grab Portia’s attention that Joss is concerned Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) may be interested in being more than just a co-parent with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Moreover, it’ll be even more intriguing that Trina seems to be unnerved by Joss’ opinion – and shares it. Portia will see this as an opportunity to encourage Esme to pursue Spencer, and her recommendation that they attend more parenting classes together may only serve to cement the bond that is clearly developing between the two of them. Whatever gets Spencer away from Trina works for her mom.

With Laura and Kevin out of town, Esme and Spencer have been left alone to care for baby Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). This alone time is going to serve to bond them in ways neither of them see coming. As Esme has already hinted at an interest in being more than just friends with Spencer, Portia sees this as an opportunity to push them closer together and further away from Trina. Portia has already enlisted the help of her brother – Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) – and now she is working on manipulating Esme to split up Sprina.

Trina has had feelings for Spencer for a while now, and Portia has never been thrilled about it. But after Trina followed Spencer onto the Haunted Star and wound up a hostage in Greenland, Portia was convinced that Spencer was too dangerous for her little girl. If Portia’s plan to push Esme and Spencer closer together succeeds, Trina may feel that he chose to be with Esme and Ace over her, and that could end the relationship for good.
