General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will receive shocking news. She’ll find out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) sold their house but is assured they won’t be downgrading their accommodations.
General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Spencer Needed Funds, And Fast
Carly needed funds, and fast-she was slapped with an exorbitant fine and no way to pay it off. The SEC stipulated it could not be a gift and she couldn’t borrow from anyone associated with Aurora Media or ELQ to pay the fine. She would have wiped out her savings, which she has been living on since losing her half of the Metro Court.
Carly considered going back to work, but doing what-even running the Haunted Star was no longer an option since it was destroyed in a drone strike. Selling the house was the only option-even though even Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) thought she could come up with another solution; however, she was able to work a little magic.
GH Spoilers: Josslyn Jacks Doesn’t Want To Move
Josslyn doesn’t want to move, especially since this was the dream house Carly always wanted and the only thing she demanded from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the divorce. It was stipulated Sonny couldn’t bail her out either in the SEC agreement but it doesn’t mean she can’t sell her house to him.
Josslyn wants to have no more to do with Sonny, and she’s shocked that Carly sold the house to him-doesn’t that make her beholden to him? Carly explains it was gone about in a roundabout way – she signed the house over to Diane in something called a quit claim deed, and Diane sold it to Sonny. Sonny then paid Diane in cash who paid Carly who then paid the fine but is letting Carly and the family stay rent free-everything went through Diane.
General Hospital Spoilers: Even More Shocking
To Josslyn, the explanation about how Carly sold the house and yet they are allowed to live there is even more shocking than the fact that she sold it. So who owns their house, Sonny or Diane, Josslyn is very confused, but Carly says not to worry. Diane is the owner of record because Sonny did another quit claim deed right back to her after forking over the money to pay the SEC.
Obviously, Josslyn is to tell no one the arrangement not even Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) or Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). It’s all an under the table secret but Carly had to take it or leave it – there were no other options.
