General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin And Sonny’s Deadly War, Who Will Survive?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has once again shown his true colors. Recently, Valentin revealed to Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) that as the new leader of the Pikeman Group, he has come up with a new way to deal with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

Rather than attempt to kill Sonny outright, Valentin had Sonny’s bi-polar medication tampered with so that the mobster is only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine was once feared by Helena Cassadine

Before Valentin even came to town the first time, his own mother Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) said he was the member of the family she feared the most.

Coming from most evil of them all, that’s saying quite a bit. When he first showed up, Valentin seemed ready to live up to those expectations.

He shot Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Later on, he even threw Ava Jerome (Maura West) off the parapet at Wyndemere although she survived. But other than that, he seems to have mostly softened.

This was partly due to the fact that his own daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) had witnessed his attack on Ava.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos is a dangerous crime figure!

Meanwhile, Sonny climbed up the ranks years ago and became a mob boss. Although he refuses to run drugs through Port Charles and he’s been a benevolent benefactor of the city, he’s still a deadly criminal.

He’s either killed or ordered killed hundreds of men and women over the years. Most recently, he beat former rival Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to within an inch of his life although it isn’t clear if that was before or after Valentin began having Sonny’s medication altered. So, what’s going to happen once Sonny discovers what Valentin did to him?

General Hospital Spoilers – Who will come out on top!

Just because we’ve seen more of Sonny’s ruthless side doesn’t mean he can automatically beat Valentin. Helena was right to be scared of her own son because he’s been able to successfully weave in and out of his darker impulses without anyone knowing.

If the two of them declare war on one another, it’s not clear who would come out the victor. Perhaps they both could end up either in prison or even six feet under. But the bigger question is, who will get caught in the crossfire once that war begins?

What do you think?

Was Helena right to fear Valentin? Has he been hiding his true colors all along? What will happen once Sonny discovers what Valentin has done to him?
