General Hospital spoilers tease that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) knew that he recognized Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) from the moment they first met months ago in Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) office.
Every time TJ ran into Mason, he knew that they had met before but couldn’t place exactly where from. Last week, Mason was brought into General Hospital after being shot by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) in the line of duty.
General Hospital Spoilers – Mason Gatlin Kidnapped Ava Jerome!
Mason works for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). On Cyrus’ order, Mason kidnapped Ava Jerome (Maura West) and awaited further instructions. Mason wanted to kill Ava, but Cyrus eventually said to let her go.
Disobeying orders, Mason planned to kill Ava anyway. Dante and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) managed to rescue Ava and Mason was shot in the process.
Mason survived but his demeanor toward TJ, his doctor, finally caused TJ to remember that he too had once been kidnapped by Mason!
GH Spoilers – TJ Ashford Was Held Captive And Beaten By Mason Gatlin!
A few years ago, Cyrus demanded that TJ be taken so that he could gain leverage over TJ’s mother, Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Jordan eventually gave in and Cyrus had TJ released. TJ went through a terrible ordeal though and was found severely beaten.
He had been blindfolded the entire time which is why he didn’t recognize Mason right away. TJ wanted justice for himself and as he looked inside Mason’s hospital room, he saw Austin about to smother Mason with a pillow.
TJ stopped Austin. He told Mason he saved him so that Mason would have to spend the rest of his life in prison. Although the crime was against Ava this time, he also felt that it was justice for himself as well.
General Hospital Spoilers – TJ Ashford Is About To Become A Father!
Now that TJ knows who bear him senseless all those years ago, he can begin to heal. He hasn’t really faced what happened to him that night. But with Mason about to finally be punished, perhaps TJ can finally begin to put the pain and trauma behind him.
He’s about to become a father for the first time so it’s time for TJ to put the past behind him and start a brand-new chapter! As for Mason, Cyrus doesn’t like loose ends and may end up having Gatlin killed anyway.
