General Hospital Spoilers: Steven Lars Missing – Did Heather Do The Unthinkable To Her Own Son?
General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question: Where is Steven Lars Webber (Scott Reeves)—really?
It seems odd that if Steve knew his mother, Heather Webber (Alley Mills), took off to move back to Port Charles, he wouldn’t have at least called his sister, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst)!
Key Takeaways
- Steven Lars Webber’s whereabouts raise questions
- Heather claims Steve didn’t want her living with him anymore
- Elizabeth hasn’t received a warning about Heather’s return
- Heather’s sudden wealth and Wyndemere purchase seem suspicious
- Could Heather have done something terrible to her own son?
Something Just Doesn’t Add Up
Something just doesn’t add up about Heather’s story to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that Steve didn’t want her with him—and didn’t call anyone in Port Charles with a heads-up.
His taking her to Arizona with him and keeping an eye on her to make sure the cured cobalt poisoning kept her on good behavior was part of her parole agreement.
Heather was evil and a killer for years before that faulty hip replacement—that started back when Steve was a toddler, and maybe before he was even born.
Heather even attacked Steve more than one time, so if he didn’t want her with him, that’s understandable.
But what doesn’t fit is that he hasn’t called anyone in Port Charles, not even Elizabeth, to warn them his unstable mother was on her way.
Even If Steve Didn’t Know Where His Mother Was Headed, He Still Would Have Called
Even if Steve didn’t know where his mother was headed, he still would have called—if no one else, he could have called his dad, Jeff Webber (William R. Moses).
It’s doubtful that Heather would have gone to Jeff, but with Heather, nothing she does would surprise anyone—and something else is fishy as well.
A lawsuit against a hip replacement manufacturer would have likely been a class-action suit—and would not have paid out enough to buy Spoon Island and Wyndemere for cash.
However, if a large enough policy had been purchased on someone, and the purchaser bided their time for it to grow in value—if that someone died, it could!
Did Heather Do Away With Her Own Son?
Did Heather do away with her own son, possibly after taking out a large life insurance policy, or perhaps multiple ones, with herself as payee?
Someone is bound to be suspicious about why they weren’t given a heads-up from Steve, and more than likely, it’s going to be Elizabeth.
And Steve isn’t the only child of Heather’s she tried to kill—she tried to kill Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) a couple of times as well.
And he buried her alive on Spoon Island, so why she moved there doesn’t make sense!
This is also where Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) imprisoned Heather’s daughter Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) for much of her pregnancy—wouldn’t it bring up bad memories?
Annemarie’s Take
Something about Steven Lars not contacting Elizabeth just doesn’t sit right with me!
Heather has a terrible history, and while there’s no proof she’s harmed Steve, her sudden return and mysterious money certainly raise questions.
Do you think Heather is hiding something about her son, or is there another explanation?
