General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) new romance in London was more serious for her British gentleman than she thought. George (uncast) shows up in Port Charles looking for his lady love, and Stella can barely believe it!
General Hospital Spoilers: Stella Henry Shared Her London Love Story
In the episode of November 9, Stella shared her London love story with Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner). George was her tour guide, but quickly fell in love with her, intent on pursuit, and they went to all kinds of galleries, gardens, and other touristy places.
For Stella, the feeling was mutual-and the first time she’d dated anyone since her high school sweetheart Marcus Godfrey (Nigel Gibbs), who she left behind.
This was back when her sister Irene Ashford (Cheryl Francis Harrington) became ill and Stella moved to take care of her nephews. It’s been well over thirty years since Stella had dated anyone, and George had been a real prize-but she had to return to Port Charles.
GH Spoilers: Stella Henry Fell, And Fell Hard!
Felicia could tell by the magical looks Stella had when she talked about her London trip and George, that she’d fell for the proper British gentleman, and she fell hard!
George actually proposed to her, but having Port Charles responsibilities, she had to turn him down-family came first, as always; she couldn’t move to London.
She’s particularly concerned about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) who’s been having a rough adjustment to losing the use of his legs, and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Stella feels duty bound to protect her grandniece, considering she’s involved with a Cassadine none of them trust-except Curtis, who saw Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) in action in Greenland. And then there’s extended family member Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) who is also having a rough adjustment.
General Hospital Spoilers: Someday Her Prince Will Come-And He Does?
The way Stella describes it, George fell as hard for her as she did for him-like Snow White, she hopes someday her prince will come. And lo and behold, he does-George shows up looking for Stella at GH, and wants to finish what they started!
It may turn out George is a jack of many trades-a proper English butler, a personal trainer, a dressage instructor, he’s done lots of jobs and isn’t afraid to start over.
It sounds like the powers that be at GH are possibly leading up to something for Stella with the build up of her London romance with George. Might romance and marriage be ahead in her future with her proper British gentleman?
