General Hospital Spoilers Speculation: Michael’s Left Reeling-Because Inside Contact Names Martin, Acting Co-CEO of ELQ?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there could be a possible twist in the information Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) gets from his contact at the SEC.
Everyone assumes he’ll bust Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) but why would he reel over that information-might his contact name Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) instead?
General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reeves Requested Anonymity
When Nina contacted Martin to blow the whistle on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) she requested anonymity, so no one would ever know it was her.
So, the only person who really knows that it was Nina and she reported through Martin is Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and he’s got complicated amnesia, as Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth). Nina could feel fairly safe as long as she doesn’t talk about being the whistleblower to anyone else where someone could overhear like Ned did, prior to his fall.
Michael still doesn’t entirely trust Nina and likely nothing would surprise him about things she might do. Why would he be surprised, let alone reeling in shock, were his inside SEC contact tell him Nina pointed the SEC towards Carly and Drew?
GH Spoilers Speculation:: Months Ago, Tracy Quartermaine Appointed Martin Grey As Co-CEO
Months ago, when it became apparent that Ned wouldn’t be able to continue his duties as Co-CEO of ELQ, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) appointed Martin to take his place. Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) the other co-CEO was out of the country at the time so someone had to take the reins.
Tracy’s fussed about there not being any Quartermaines at the top rung of ELQ and mused over doing the job herself, but so far Martin and Valentin are the head honchos. Michael and Drew are the heads of Aurora Media, but aside from that they are both Quartermaines by blood and ELQ is as much their legacy as Ned’s and Tracy’s.
General Hospital Spoilers: WHOA-Major Conflict Of Interest?
Michael’s at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) and Nina’s wedding when he gets the call from his contact, and as he watches Nina dancing with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) he reels!
The contact tells part of the story- the person who pointed the SEC towards Carly and Drew was Martin, but could fail to disclose Martin filed it for an anonymous whistleblower. The contact may not have access to any more propriety information than that to disclose-at least not without consequences, such as being fired, and now Michael has to take action.
It’ll wait until everyone’s back from Puerto Rico and home in Port Charles, but he has to tell Tracy. This is a major conflict of interest for Martin and ELQ and he’s going to have to be replaced-that’s not to say Ned might not remember later!

The whistle blower needs to name Nina as the person Martin covered for. Since he couldn’t name himself because he’sa lawyer, he had to name Nina but in a confidential way. So her name would be on record.
