While “Mike” sheltered Nina from Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) dark side, it begs the question, how much does she actually know about her mobster boyfriend?
When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) sees to it that his father will have to pay for his crimes, the whole family will be in danger with dad in lock-up. With only Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) left standing to protect the family Sonny is at risk of leaving behind, Nina is going to feel like she no longer belongs in this strange love triangle.

When Carly and Ava set their sights on retaliation and protecting Sonny’s empire, they’ll have more than Michael to contend with.

Once upon a time, Sonny’s amnesia proved to be a blessing for Nina, but she was sheltered from the darkness that lurked in the other half of his world. So far, that’s been working, but now Sonny is in trouble and Nina is going to feel rather helpless.
Her superficial knowledge of Sonny’s true identity means nothing when it comes to handling the reality of his world. Will Nina be forced to come clean about everything? Will Ava risk keeping her secret about the SEC if it means it may place her children in further jeopardy if Carly is hauled off to jail, too?

Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) will be Sonny’s primary concerns, and he’s going to show more care for their mothers than he will for Nina. With as needy as Nina tends to be, she just might start feeling like she’s losing her man — and her bestie — to Carly. It’s just like her to take the last of what Nina’s got!
