General Hospital spoilers leak Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) isn’t going to tolerate Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) latest betrayal.
While he certainly didn’t expect any loyalty from the guy after cutting him loose on the heels of learning he was working with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to essentially babysit him, any doubts he had about Dex being a traitor were squashed when Ava Jerome (Maura West) relayed the news that a Dex was joining the Port Charles Police Department.
Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is, of course, worried sick that it’ll be the last thing Dex ever does, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) made her a hefty promise that he won’t let any harm come to Dex — and she’s hoping he’ll come through on his word just like he always has. For Jason though, this will be a heavier lift than he thought.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Isn’t Simmering Down
Everyone has tried their best to talk some sense into Sonny, but he just isn’t having it. Carly may not have made the connection right away, but it hit her like a freight train when she looked into Sonny’s seemingly dead eyes and raced to his bathroom to see if he had been taking his pills.
Confirming it appears that he was, she left his penthouse apartment more confused and stunned by his behavior than ever before. Fans are eager to watch Carly figure out Ava’s involvement in this storyline, but it may not happen quickly enough to spare Dex’s life.
GH Spoilers Tease Jason Made a Threat
Jason sternly reminded Sonny that he still has Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) in his good graces. He is counting on that to be all he needs to keep Sonny’s temper and zest for revenge against Dex at bay.
Normally, Sonny would never want to do anything to jeopardize his relationships with his children. But Jason still hasn’t fully onboarded the idea that he’s not working with the Sonny he always knew.
General Hospital Spoilers — The End Game
Sonny also believes Jason is a traitor and can’t be trusted, but he knows better than to doubt him. If Jason issues a threat, he can be trusted to follow through on it.
That won’t necessarily stop Sonny in his tracks though. He still believes he can outsmart Jason and still sees himself as the most powerful man in Port Charles.
Improperly medicated and unaware of it, Sonny may come to regret letting his ego swell so large while turning his back on his best friend.
If he makes a move against Dex, Jason may have to intervene in ways he was trying to avoid. When Kristina turns away from her pops, Jason will lose that leverage he is hoping to use to keep Dex protected.
