General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Banishes Gladys From Port Charles!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has gotten away with much more than most people when it comes to her dealings in Port Charles.
But when her recent activities are finally brought to light, her cousin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) will have no choice but to deal with Gladys once and for all.
And while most of Sonny’s enemies don’t live to see another day, Sonny will likely choose a different sort of punishment for Gladys because they are cousins?
General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin stepped up after Brando Corbin died!
As viewers know, Gladys took over her daughter-in-law Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) conservatorship when her son Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was murdered by the Hook, aka Heather Webber (Allie Mills).
Gladys and Sasha had gotten off to a rocky start, and Gladys didn’t believe that Sasha was good enough for her son.
But after their newborn baby died, Gladys was a surprising source of comfort for Sasha. In that regard, she seemed to be the logical choice to take over the conservatorship!
GH Spoilers – Gladys Corbin has gambling problems!
But Gladys has always been money-hungry. Prior to Brando’s death, Gladys was always looking for a way to get an easy payout from Sonny.
So, it’s not terribly surprising that having control of Sasha’s finances became too much of a temptation for Gladys to deny.
She began gambling at the high-stakes poker games run by Selina Wu (Lydia Look) in the back room at the Savoy.
Within weeks, Gladys was in debt to Selina and used Sasha’s money to help pay off some of what she owed. But Sasha was growing stronger every day and was ready to petition the court to end the conservatorship.
General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin needs to be punished!
Not wanting to give up her access to Sasha’s money, Gladys teamed up with Sasha’s doctor to make sure the court didn’t rule in Sasha’s favor.
The doctor drugged Sasha, who is now hospitalized after having terrifying hallucinations. But more and more people are becoming suspicious of Gladys and it won’t be long before Sonny becomes aware of what she helped do to Sasha.
Because they are family, Sonny will likely be more lenient that he is with most of his enemies, meaning he won’t have Gladys killed.
But he can make it clear that could change should Gladys ever set foot in Port Charles again or make any future contact with Sasha!
