General Hospital Spoilers: Sneak Peek-Anna’s Risky Plan, Will Dante And Sonny Go Along With It?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) comes up with a risky plan to flush out the Metro Court sniper. But will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) go along with it?
General Hospital Spoilers: To Trap A Shooter, Bait The Trap
The theory that Dante had come up with after the shooting was that either Anna or Sonny could have been the target-Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was hit by a ricochet. Sonny had a sniper problem previously in a warehouse where Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) spotted the gun and took a bullet. That was where he was to meet with the Pikeman Security Group but that sniper was taken out.
Anna had someone spray paint “murderer” in blood red paint on her door and although initially she’d dismissed it as a prank, now she’s taking it more seriously. Anna comes up with a plan-to trap the Metro Court shooter, the trap has to be baited.
GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Offers Herself As Bait
Still in Anna’s house where she, Dante and Sonny have been talking about the sniper, she has an idea-she offers herself up as bait to flush out the shooter. Anna tells Sonny and Dante she thinks offering herself up as bait is the best way to find out who shot the gun with the bullet that landed in Curtis. Dante isn’t so sure – he says, yeah, except for the part where you put yourself in danger, Anna says it’s not exactly new territory for her.
Sonny says well, this is different-the gun the shooter used was traced to the WSB arsenal and stolen, Anna says yeah, she knows. Anna says there’s something off about that-it doesn’t make sense to her that the bureau would want her dead; Sonny asks if it’s possible someone in the organization went rogue.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Questions The Plan
Anna, answering Sonny’s question, says maybe-and that she’ll have to set a good trap for them. Dante questions the plan, asking if she’s really going to do this-Anna says yes, she’s not going to live under a constant threat. Dante says he gets that but there are other ways of handling this, saying her plan is a little dangerous and reckless.
Sonny pipes up and says he likes the plan, bringing surprised looks from both Anna and Dante. Ultimately, Dante will go along with it, with one caveat-that he shadows her as her partner to help keep Anna safe; the last thing they need is another casualty.
