General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Warns Cody for Mac’s Sake — But Will He Listen?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has been waffling back and forth between whether to tell Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) the truth about the PCPD’s plan to take down Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Sam told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) of the internal struggle she was facing with this decision, feeling as though Mac Scorpio (John J. York) really wants her to clue him in so that he can get the heck out of dodge.
On one hand, Sam is sympathetic to Mac’s feelings for Cody. She can sense he was truly disappointed that the DNA test results revealed Cody was not his son. On the other hand, she’s not sure she should meddle in a police investigation or do Mac’s dirty work for him. Finally, she’s going to make the hard call to tell Cody the truth in light of Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) recently stabbing him. Chalk it up to her feeling bad for the guy!
General Hospital Spoilers — Sam Gives Cody a Heads Up
When Sam stops by to visit Cody again, he’s going to suspect she’s there for reasons more than their second-degree friendship. And he would be right. When Sam tells Cody she knows the PCPD is after Selina, and that they’ve been aware of her back-room poker games at The Savoy for months, he just might panic. After all, if the cops know all about her games, they likely know every person who has played at Selina’ table. But when Sam makes it clear that Cody could exempt himself from Selina’s problems by steering clear for a few weeks until they take her in, he just might wonder if there is more to the story than Sam just being a concerned friend.
GH Spoilers Suggest Mac is Behind This
Cody wasn’t born yesterday. Every good con artist knows the art of the lie, but Sam is rusty. When she tries to paint this as though she is just looking out for Cody and stumbled upon this information because she lives with Dante, he’s going to see right through it. He knows Dante better than that and the good cop doesn’t share the deets on his cases — not even with the woman he loves. He wouldn’t break protocol like that, even for Cody. If he did, he would tell Cody himself, not send Sam to do it. But perhaps this message is coming from someone who isn’t quite as close to Cody as Dante is. Someone like…Mac?
General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Lacks Wiggle Room
Cody is going to appreciate the heads-up, but knowing that the PCPD is out to get Selina doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to be able to stay out from under her thumb. Despite having just been stabbed, Selina is still going to expect Cody to show up to the nex game, especially in light of how he has been behaving recently. Trying to weasel out of working for her was a bad move on his part, and now she’s going to see to it that he pays. Will Mac go through with the takedown knowing Cody is a part of it all?
