General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Senses Tension Between Dante and Cody — Who Will Squeal to Her First?
General Hospital spoilers say Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is going to be caught off guard soon. His attorney, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), told him that it may be necessary to exhume Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) body to confirm that he is Cody‘s biological father. In no certain terms, Cody made it clear that he did not want to do that, but Scott seems to have a mind of his own about how this case should proceed.
So when Scott returns to him with the news that they have to make this move, Cody is going to be frantic. Who could he possibly call on to help him fix this situation? Dante Falcoenri (Dominic Zamprogna) is likely to come to mind, but Cody will already know Dante is going to suggest the ends don’t justify the means and that he should just call the whole thing off. Dante breaks the law for no one, right?

Cody has never tried to make Dante pay him back for the fall he took on his behalf when they were just kids, but Dante knows he owes Cody. Still, he probably doesn’t expect him to come cashing out anytime soon. After all, Cody has stayed out of his life for the most part thus far, and even since coming to Port Charles and finding himself in trouble a few times, he has never asked Dante to involve himself. Cody isn’t going to like this, but he has no other option. Honestly, the guy barely has any other friends. When he needs someone to help him fix a paternity test, and he knows it will go through the PCPD, he will call on Detective Dante to help him make sure Leopold looks like he was Cody’s father. This is going to break Dante’s heart, especially knowing what he’s doing to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) in the process — withholding the truth from him that he is actually Cody’s father.

This bitter end to Cody and Dante’s friendship is going to look highly suspicious to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Recently, she was actually helping Cody to clear his name of the charges Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) had pressed against him. Dante convinced her to give Cody another shot and Sam has thought that Cody has really reformed himself since coming to town. When she notices obvious tension between Dante and Cody, and Dante doesn’t want to talk about it, she just might be left to her own devices as a PI to figure out what happened.
