General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates reveals Hayden Barnes (ex-Rebecca Budig) name has been dropped several times in recent weeks. Fans cannot help but wonder if Hayden is about to come back to Port Charles with a huge story to tell. Is Hayden’s return imminent?
I Get Questions All The Time
General Hospital’s Budig says she gets questions all the time on whether she will be returning to the show soon. Rebecca says she is always getting messages saying that Hayden has been mentioned and asking if she is about to return. Budig even admits that people text her regularly as well. Alicia Minshew, AMC alum, has even accused Budig of lying to her about her GH status because she is mentioned so often. Budig says Minshew has contacted her three times about her return only to be told no each time. However, Minshew knows that when a character is mentioned numerous times, it usually means they will return at any moment. Why all that talk about Hayden these days? Is Budig about to get a surprise invitation to come back?
Has Budig Declined To Return?
General Hospital rumors have been swirling that Budig has been invited back to declined to return. Budig immediately shot down that rumor because she has not been approached at all. Budig says she loves Frank Valentin, GH executive producer, but he has not asked her to come back. Budig agreed that anything could happen with the show in the future.
Budig loves her onscreen daughter, Jophielle Love, who plays Violet Barnes. Budig also enjoys working with Michael Easton who plays Hamilton Finn. Budig says that Rebecca Herbst (Liz Baldwin) was like a sister to her. Budig also has a history with Cameron Mathison who plays the new Drew Cain.
Hayden Would Be Surprised
General Hospital’s Hayden would be surprised if she did return to town. Hayden may even get to have a few more arguments with her sister Liz as well. Liz and Finn are working their way into a romance. Hayden’s daughter looks up to Liz a great deal. Of course, Hayden shouldn’t expect any different since everyone in town believes she has just disappeared. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has insinuated that he has taken care of Hayden. Could hadn’t have been sacrificed to fake Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) death?
Fans are still holding out hope that Hayden will return to her daughter someday soon. Of course, fans of Hayden and Finn want them to be reunited as well. Will Hayden eventually return home to her little girl?
