General Hospital Spoilers: Reasons Austin Was Staring at Michael Corinthos Name at GH?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Roger Howarth is back onscreen, this time as Austin. No last name, just Austin, a one-namer like LeBron, Madonna, Brad.
Who in the world is this guy, the backwoods doctor from Pautuck who delivered Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby in the dark night amid the leaves and the branches?
Is he back from the dead with a new face? Is Austin even his first name? It could be his last name, a nickname, or a false name. TPTB are keeping the character mysterious for a reason but enquiring minds won’t rest until his identity has been exposed!
General Hospital spoilers: Who Is Dr. Austin?
There’s been a load of conjecture about who Austin is, as well as who he isn’t. Despite his identical likeness to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), the show isn’t going there. Franco’s widow Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) gave him the once over when she was introduced to him and then a sideways glance as well as a backward stare. Nope, no acknowledgement of the resemblance to her dead hubby.
So we can reasonably assume that Austin has no ties to Franco or the Baldwin family. That leaves a myriad of possibilities, starting with why he was seen staring at Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) name on the wall at GH.
General Hospital spoilers: Is Austin A Corinthos?
Some fans think Austin is the latest and greatest member of the Corinthos family, no disrespect to baby Donna who has disappeared upstairs.
This possibility has lots of fans in an uproar, the ones who think there are already enough Corinthi in town. Is there really a need for more mobsters in Port Charles?
If he’s not a Corinthos, could he be a Quartermaine?
General Hospital spoilers: Is there a Jimmy Lee Holt Spawn Out There?
The Q family has had its share of illegitimate members coming out of the woodwork. In particular Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) was a ladies’ man who cheated on Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee) more than once.
Austin is in Pautuck which is where Edward’s illegitimate son Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond) was from. Jimmy Lee was also referenced recently which gives more credence to the theory that Austin (if that’s even his real name!) is Jimmy Lee’s kin.
For now Austin appears for all intents and purposes to be a stand up guy, one who did right by Maxie when she needed him. It’s your turn, tell us who you think Austin is GH fans!
