Chase and Brook Lynn are on the verge of possibly making their parenting dreams come true, if baby Phoebe Wilson’s (uncredited infant) remaining family doesn’t claim her.
Brook Lynn didn’t discuss her plans with Chase first, but she did meet with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to ask questions about adopting her.
And Chase has already lost big because of his obsession with saving Willow-he was demoted from a detective to a patrolman, and Brook Lynn was very upset about that!
She worried that it could be a problem when trying to adopt a baby even before Phoebe came into their lives!
Just imagine how upset she’ll be if Chase falls for Michael’s trap, and how upset she’ll be with Michael for trapping Chase?

The whole issue hinges on how dumb Chase is-and risking his career over his Willow worship was about as dumb as you can get.
But will Chase wake up and realize the depths of what he’ll lose if he falls into Michael’s trap of having an affair with Willow?
He’ll lose everything-he’ll lose his wife, the chance to have a family, and most likely, his home and the respect of his remaining family.
His brother, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and niece, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) live far, far away and as for Willow, she’ll never divorce Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)!
She loves the power that comes with the office too much-although she might finish killing the corrupt congressman; then, as she always does, she’ll tire of Chase and move on!
