Could Nina end Peter’s life and finally be forgiven for all of her mistakes?

Redemption Story Teased

GH spoilers reveal that several months ago, actor Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) hinted to fans on Twitter that Nina would have a huge redemption story. Based on Nina’s comments during the week of December 6, it sounds like we are getting closer to that moment. Nina spoke to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about her case. Nina blurted out a question about how is she supposed to get redemption.

GH Spoilers: Peter August’s Fate

During the week of December 13, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be at the hospital waiting for news. This must be regarding Peter’s fate after his jailhouse collapse. Sonny and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) made a deal and Peter’s death was part of that agreement. Even though it appears that Peter’s meal was poisoned, there is also the chance that he was faking it. After all, it’s easier to escape a hospital room – even while guarded – than prison.

There is also the chance that Peter really was poisoned but survives. This might explain why Maxie is waiting at the hospital for news… to make sure Peter’s dead. Even if he somehow survives the poisoning, fans can bet that there will be a long line of people waiting to kill him.

Nina Reeves Finishes the Job?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that one of those people could be Nina. Nina has Sonny’s amnesia and the Corinthos’ family unnecessary grieving on her head. However, Nina also blames herself for Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) death. Plus, with everything leading back to Peter, including Maxie not being able to raise her own baby, Nina could take drastic action.

General Hospital Spoilers: Finally Earns Forgiveness?

Nina is already facing prison time for not telling Sonny or his family the truth about his identity. So, Nina could figure that the only way to get redemption is to kill Peter. Nina might also believe that if she’s going to prison, she doesn’t want it to be for love. She’d rather go to prison for something that really matters… like killing a dangerous madman.

If Nina manages to get into Peter’s hospital room and ends his reign of terror, it will earn her forgiveness with some people. However, others will never let go of their hatred no matter what Nina does. One of those people is Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), which could tear her marriage apart.
