General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Sold Her Half of the Metro Court — But The Strings Attached Will Blow Back in Her Face
General Hospital Spoilers report Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is currently stewing on an offer Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) brought her way last week. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wants to buy Nina’s half of the Metro Court Hotel — and above market price.
Knowing immediately that Jason must not have any interest in the hotel business, she put two and two together and realized this was likely a way for Jason to hand the hotel back over to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
As Nina considers giving up the burden of co-running the hotel — even if it goes back to her arch nemesis — will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sway her decision?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Planted a Seed
When Ava Jerome (Maura West) showed up at Nina’s office last week for an impromptu visit, she thought her gal pal might’ve missed her enough to be excited to see her.
Instead, she made it clear all she was really missing was inside access to what was going on with her estranged hubby, Sonny. Ava is starting to notice a pattern here, and she may even be able to convince herself that part of why she felt comfortable with pursuing her best friend’s husband was because her best friend stopped being a friend at all.
Ava knew exactly what she was doing when she encouraged Nina to sell Jason her half of the hotel — noting it would be seen by Sonny as a kind gesture made by his wife toward his own best friend. Except Ava knows Sonny and Jason are anything but pals right now.
GH Spoilers Say Nina Took a Leap
Taking Ava’s advice on board, Nina didn’t think twice about her decision after that moment. She assumed she was right, and why wouldn’t she? Nina had no reason to suspect Sonny is actually furious with Jason and wants him nowhere near anything he does — including where he dines.
Sonny already suspects that Carly and Jason were having an affair long before he disappeared. Any further alliance and friendship between them now is only going to cement those suspicions.
So seeing Jason buy the Metro Court Hotel and hand it over to her won’t come as a shock, but he will be stunned that Nina agreed to it — and will likely only view that as further betrayal and disloyalty on her part.
General Hospital Spoilers — An Unstable Sonny Jumps Ship
Sonny was quite clear when talking to Ava that she’s the only family he has left besides Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) — whom he can’t speak freely with because he’s a cop, and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi).
Watching that seed she planted with Nina grow into such an enormous disaster that further positions her closest to Sonny must have been validating for Ava, but it didn’t go unnoticed.
The reward Nina was seeking from giving the hotel back to Carly via Jason won’t come. As Nina realizes Sonny has turned away from both Jason and Carly, she’ll have to question why Ava didn’t mention that and instead pushed her in the opposite direction.

I would really like to address the fact that the only reason Jason and Carly got together was for Sonny’s business, Sonny was presumed dead and Carly took over with the other mob families. And, then they decided to get married because it was best for the business. Yes, they fell for each other but no one seems to remember the reason why.
