General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Is Responsible For Cyrus’ New Fate, Can He Be Stopped!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) may have just given Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) the keys to redemption, even though he may be faking every bit of it.
As viewers know, Cyrus recently landed in the hospital after taking a severe beating from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). The two men were in church and Cyrus wouldn’t stop baiting Sonny about his relationship issues with Nina.
Sonny pummeled Cyrus repeatedly and he may have died had he not been brought to General Hospital in time.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos had murder on his mind!
But that wasn’t enough for Sonny. He then convinced Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to kill Cyrus in the hospital. But Sonny later changed his mind and was able to stop Dex at the last minute.
Meanwhile, Nina had already met with Cyrus and wanted to know what it would take for him not to press charges against Sonny. It seems that Cyrus is so convinced of his connection to God that he wants to have a television segment where spreads his biblical teachings.
GH Spoilers – Is Cyrus Renault truly repentant?
Giving Cyrus a platform for his teaching would be one thing is that’s truly what newfound calling is truly about. But Cyrus is a complicated man and his intentions in that area are still a bit murky.
He truly did have a heart attack a few months ago and seemed to have an almost out of body experience that may have set him on the right path.
But this is also the same man who considered killing Ava Jerome (Maura West) only weeks ago. He also used his heart attack to manipulate the legal system in order to go free, blackmailing Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) in order to make his freedom possible.
General Hospital Spoilers – What is Cyrus Renault’s endgame?
Cults are nothing new in Port Charles. It wasn’t all that long ago that Dawn of Day was active in the area. Giving Cyrus a platform to reach so many people could be very dangerous if his intention is to build up a cult-like following.
If that the case, then Nina just opened the door for Cyrus Renault to once again be the most dangerous man in Port Charles but in a completely different way than he was before.
