General Hospital Spoilers: Nina and Willow Meet in the Middle — But How Long Can This Last With Nina’s Lies?
General Hospital spoilers leak Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is finally ready to let her birth mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), into her life. Headed home from the hospital to recover the rest of the way from her bone marrow transplant, Willow is on the mend and looking at life through an entirely new lens.
Her new outlook includes welcoming Nina into the fold of her private life. Dr. TJ Ashford was very clear that Willow would have to use extreme caution at home, only letting a few key friends and family members into her bubble — for the sake of her vulnerable immune system. Nina is over the moon that she gets to be one of them. At the same time, every happy moment with Willow will be laced with paranoia and read that the end is coming.

Heading to the hospital upon her daughter’s request, Nina was riddled with anxiety, wondering what Willow could possibly want from her. Of course, there is nothing that she would deny her, except for that whole promise about not striking back at Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). It’s too late for that. But when Willow told Nina, she wanted to give it an honest shot at trying to forge a relationship with one another, Nina couldn’t believe her ears. Finally, she’s getting everything she ever wanted. But all she can think about is what it will feel like to lose it.
GH Spoilers Indicate Nina Softens Her Daughter’s Heart
Rumor has it that in the weeks ahead, Willow and Nina will indeed grow closer together. Nina is obviously going to be on her best forward facing behavior. Willow is certain to take note of that, and she’s quite going to like having her mom around to take care of her. While she has become accustomed to that kind of maternal care coming from Carly, I will be nice to know it is coming from her own mom. She hasn’t had that kind of comfort since Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was alive. In time, Willow’s view of Nina is going to change. They will truly become the mother and daughter that Nina always longed for.

Of course, Nina’s paranoia is rooted in the fact that she knows the truth — she turned Carly into the SEC, alongside Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). She already has enough anxiety, worrying that Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) is going to come back to his senses as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and ruin everything by spilling her secret.
Just when she thought her anxiety couldn’t get any worse, she’s going to realize that every step that brings her and Willow closer together, also brings her closer to the brink of losing it. Every bit of Willow’s trust that she gains will make her fear losing it. Can Nina hold it together or will her relationship with her daughter end up pushing her over the edge?
