General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Isn’t Ace’s Daddy — Spencer Is!

General Hospital spoilers claim Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is probably better off wherever he is right now. If he was back home in Port Charles, he would be falling in love with a baby boy that isn’t his. When Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) came back to Port Chuck and arrived at Wyndemere — pregnant — she knew that she would benefit more from taking down the Cassadine family and profiting off of them if she pretended her baby was Nikolas’.

The rest, as they say, is history. At the time, Esme never imagined that she would struggle with guilt over this decision — pretending that Nikolas was the father of her child when his son — Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) — actually is. Now, Spencer has proven himself to be an amazing father figure to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), and it’s hard for Esme to ignore that. Moreover, she will soon struggle to ignore her budding feelings for him, too. This is going to put quite a wrinkle in her plan to bring the whole family to ruins.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Isn’t Ace’s Father

Nikolas had no real way of proving that he was not Ace’s father when Esme first came to town. All he was focused on was keeping her his dirty little secret, locked away in the north tower of his castle. He couldn’t let Ava Jerome (Maura West) find out that his affair with Esme produced a child. That also meant there was no way they could do a paternity test while Esme was pregnant, and we are inclined to believe he would have made sure that was his first step after the baby was born.

GH Spoilers Indicate Spencer Falls for His Ex

Now, Spencer is helping Esme to raise Ace, and he’s been rather adamant about it, in fact. He has threatened that if she ever tries to take that baby boy and leave town, he will be right behind her. He will follow her wherever she goes for the rest of time to stay in his brother’s life. Suffice it to say, Esme isn’t going anywhere.

Now, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) are going to be out of town in Russia for a while – leaving Esme and Spencer alone together. While Laura may have been concerned that this could breed trouble between the two of them, it will have the opposite effect. Spencer and Esme are going to find their way back to one another as a couple soon. Watch out, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali)!

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Can Never Tell

Certainly, Esme will be over the moon that she and Spencer were able to work out their relationship problems. While Spencer thinks she can’t remember their past at all, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Esme remembers everything and always has. The entire time she has been pretending to have amnesia, she’s been taking everyone for a ride.

But Esme can never tell Spencer the truth — that he is Ace’s father. To do so, she would have to reveal to Spencer that she never lost her memory in the first place. Given that he is going to fall in love with her again on the premise that she is a changed woman and nothing like the person she used to be, telling him the truth isn’t an option.
