General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nikolas and Spencer Cassadine (Adam Huss, Nicholas Alexander Chavez) have an unexpected reunion.
Nikolas went to his mother, Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) house likely not expecting Spencer to be there and Spencer certainly wasn’t expecting him-might there be an unexpected storyline twist as well?
General Hospital Spoilers: Looking For Baby Ace Prince-Cassadine?
There’s a good chance that Nikolas was hoping to find Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) with a sitter, since he’d just came from a moment with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Nikolas had wanted Ava to team up with him to eliminate Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) but instead Ava pressed charges for her breaking into Wyndemere.
Ava told Nikolas Esme is in jail and that her hearing was that day-he either pretended to say goodbye and said he was leaving town again or he changed his mind.
Either way, he wound up at the Collins house where Spencer opened the door right after sending the nanny home. The two locked eyes in a shocked and uneasy silence, after not seeing each other for over a year and Nikolas having been presumed dead.
GH Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Decides To Protect The Baby
Nikolas will decide to protect the baby, and although Spencer may scowl at him at first the two may come to a meeting of the minds regarding what’s best for Ace.
Spencer has just realized Esme has gotten her full memory back, and with it, quite possibly her deviousness and duplicity. Spencer may fear that Ace is in danger, because he can see Esme has Grandma Laura completely snowed, and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) as well.
Spencer didn’t trust Nikolas with him either previously but that was because of his own anger and sense of abandonment-there may be a twist where the two team up.
General Hospital Spoilers: Catching Up Father
There are things about Esme that Nikolas wouldn’t know unless he was keeping up with the Port Charles news, and when he was on life support he couldn’t.
Spencer will tell him that it was revealed Esme’s birth parents are Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and the late Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) making Kevin her uncle.
He may not even know that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is dead or that he tried to kill off much of the population with a virus.
Father and son have a lot of catching up to do, and in an unforeseen twist, Spencer may decide Nikolas can protect Ace better than he can. Esme and Laura may think he’s kidnapped, but Spencer may confess he gave Ace to Nikolas to protect him.
