General Hospital spoilers reveal fans are concerned for their old favorite, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). When the WSB arrested her – following Victor Cassadine‘s (Charles Shaughnessy) exposure of her as a double agent — she knew her days as an agent were over. While she was able to weasel out of the informal charges slated against her, Anna is wondering if that was really the best option.
After all, now she feels she’s left with nothing. What is she going to do with herself? Who is Anna if she isn’t a WSB agent? How is she supposed to go on with her life now acting as though the last 40 years of it meant so little in light of the way it ended? What does this mean for her relationship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) — who remains an agent with the organization she devoted her life to?

Make no mistake, the WSB is absolutely done entertaining Anna. She was never supposed to have her cover blown the way she did. And while it’s not her fault that the truth came out, there’s little to no allegiance from the WSB in helping Anna clean up the mess that she has left in her wake. They don’t care that it was Victor’s doing; they just care about their image, not Anna’s. That’s going to be a hard pill for Anna to swallow after giving her life away to them all these years.
GH Spoilers Hint Anna May Not Be Done with the WSB
Anna might not take this transition lightly. Shifting into retirement isn’t going to be a smooth move for her. Rather, she just might find herself wanting some sort of payback — some vengeance to clear her name, at least in her own heart. Does she have the means to take down the WSB? Probably. But who will be there to help her? Valentin? Possibly. We’re liking the sound of this.

Valentin still has a career ahead of him. Anna doesn’t want to take that away from him, but he can see how much it’s going to pain her to be in a relationship with him where he is still an agent and she is not. This was such a critical component of their relationship that neither of them ever paid much attention to before. They bonded over their shared years as agents. Now, Anna can’t bear to talk about it. If Valentin wants any shot at moving things forward with her, he may have to give up his agent status and go rogue with Anna in a desperate attempt to smear the WSB as badly as Victor smeared Anna.
