General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas And Elizabeth Revisit Their Friendship, Return To Romance?
General Hospital spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) have been friends for decades now, ever since meeting as teens. Their friendship has had its ups and downs over the years and has even become romantic from time to time. Despite the longevity of their friendship, their attempts at romance have always seemed to be ill-timed. Their attraction to one another seems to pop up when at least one of them is in a committed relationship with someone else.
General Hospital spoilers – Elizabeth Webber cheated on Lucky Spencer with Nikolas Cassadine
Several years ago, Elizabeth was married to Nikolas’ half-brother, Lucky Spencer (last played by Greg Vaughn) when she suddenly found herself sleeping with Nikolas. They had a passionate affair and Liz became pregnant. Lucky eventually discovered the affair even though he turned out to be the baby’s father. Lucky eventually moved past the betrayal and is on much better terms today. But one could easily argue that the reason Lucky left town and rarely comes to visit is that Liz and Nikolas hurt him so badly.
GH Spoilers – Ave Jerome is fighting for her life!
Someone viciously attacked Nikolas’ wife Ava Jerome (Maura West) with a large hook during a charity picnic at the Quartermaine mansion. She was found and taken to General Hospital where she had surgery to repair the damage done. Ava survived surgery and will likely make a complete recovery but as of yet, her attacker remains unidentified. Elizabeth has been having blackouts and has been losing time. She had another blackout at the picnic and when she came to, she had blood on her forehead and no memory of why. She ran into Nikolas around the same time.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine needed an alibi!
Ava and Nikolas’ marriage has been in trouble ever since Ava found out that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Nikolas slept together. They had a huge fight at the picnic and a furious Nikolas and Ava went their separate ways when Nikolas ran into a shaken Elizabeth.
It’s unclear if this was right before Ava’s attack or if they were together when it happened. Regardless, a scheming told authorities that they were together, giving them both an alibi. Elizabeth went along with it even though she wasn’t sure it was the truth. Nikolas will want to keep Elizabeth close by pretending he lied to protect her. But once Elizabeth realizes Nikolas is only out to protect himself, she may end their friendship once and for all.
