General Hospital Spoilers: Nathan Grills Dante About the Last Seven Years — What Will He Ask First?
General Hospital spoilers claim Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is ready to get his life back on track. Allegedly having no idea where he has been for the last seven years, everything feels as real to him as the day he “died” at the hands of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
His memory lapse is likely either a side effect of some kind of mind mapping brainwashing technique, or he’s playing a game and fooling everyone around him — everyone except Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), perhaps.
Previews for this week suggest Nathan will seek out Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) for help.
He has questions about what has transpired over the last seven years, and he trusts his old pal to be honest with him. Can Dante tell him the truth without breaking him — or breaking his loyalty to others, like Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)?
What About Spinelli?
Last week, we saw Nathan and Spinelli have a real heart-to-heart about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Spinelli didn’t really need to hear Nathan pour his heart out about how he still loves Maxie every bit as much as he did when he was married to her seven years ago.
He already knew that. In many ways, this is his worst nightmare come true. Not only does he not know how Maxie would feel about him in light of Nathan’s return, but he has no idea when he’ll get to find out either, because she is still in a coma.
So, will Dante tell Nathan the truth about Spinelli and Maxie’s magical love story?
Maxie’s Heart is Beating But Broken
Nathan is certain to have questions about how Maxie ended up in this coma. Hearing that her heart is weak and failing isn’t going to be easy.
He’s probably going to be inclined to want to fix this problem, but the Nathan we knew before had limited resources. He was just your average guy making his way in the world today.
He hardly had the kind of resources that could bring forth — or buy — the kind of miracle Maxie needs. Can Dante break it to him gently without dashing Nathan’s hope that Maxie will survive this?
Peter August Comes to Light
We absolutely expect Nathan to wonder what happened with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Hearing how he preyed on Maxie, delivered James on the side of the road, and hounded and stalked her for months before meeting an untimely end is going to weigh on Nathan.
He’s not going to like hearing he left his wife in such dire straits and surrounded by people he couldn’t protect her from.
