General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) thinks he’s going to be able to forgive his mother and just move forward with their lives. It’s understandable that he wants to. His life is overwhelming right now and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is a big support role for him. She was relieved to hear him say he needs her in his life, and he may genuinely feel that way. However, Michael’s fury at his mother isn’t just going to go away because he wants to hang onto a relationship with his mom. He’s broken and devastated that she kept this secret from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) — and that it could cost them her life.

Michael is longing to forgive his mother; he hates the position she has put him in. Their relationship is bound to suffer because of her decision and they both know it. Still, Carly was relieved when Michael signaled he doesn’t want to ice her out, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy to keep her in his life. Michael is hopeful that as time passes, he won’t be as angry with his mom for nearly costing Willow her life, but it won’t be nearly that simple.

GH Spoilers Hint Drew Inadvertently Stokes Michael’s Anger

Michael will truck right along supporting Willow as she prepares soon for a bone marrow transplant, which will require an equally big decision to be made first. Willow must consent to her baby girl being born early in order for her to undergo the bone marrow transplant procedure; that cannot be done while she is pregnant. The risk that it won’t even work will have Willow waffling on whether or not it’s worth the gamble to force her daughter to be born prematurely.

Amidst all of this, Michael has fooled himself into believing he can table his anger toward his mother until he catches her in an embrace with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). He may not notice how triggered he is by this at first, but it will leave Michael furious that Drew is giving Carly a pass after what she’s done — particularly how she intentionally thwarted his efforts to find Willow’s birth family.

General Hospital Spoilers — You Know What They Say About Payback

During this time, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will also be championing the cause of rallying around Willow and Michael during their time of need. As word slips out in close quarters that Carly and Drew were coupled up and Ned realizes his wife, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), knew about this and hid it from him on purpose, it might put the issue back on Michael’s brain at an all-too-convenient time.
