General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie’s Awakening Shakes Things Up on Spoon Island — Is She at Risk?
General Hospital Spoilers reveal Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) waking up is going to make Spoon Island feel like a tsunami is about to strike.
Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has likely nearly forgotten about the Deception mogul in her time out of commission in a coma. But today, she’s back in action, and it’s likely that she’ll pose a major threat to Sidwell’s mission, not the least of which is staying undercover.
Months ago, Maxie’s heart attack came out of nowhere after she applied some of Deception’s jaw-dropping beauty cream.
At the time, no one thought to test the cream or they would have found a chemical compound present that induced her heart problems, and had Maxie been able to advocate for herself at the time, she might have alerted the police to the threat she posed to Sidwell. Will she now, or has she gotten close enough to that stove not to touch it?
Sidwell’s Enemies are Already Circling the Gates
Sidwell isn’t the most liked guy in town, that’s for certain. His enemies are piling up. Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might not be able to retaliate as easily right now, but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) sure can.
If Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) figures out that Agent Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is working with Sidwell, he may join the ranks. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is already eager to dig into the catacombs to unearth whatever the guy is involved in.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is also in search of Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) meds there and ready to eliminate Sidwell as soon as he does so.
GH Spoilers Claim News Travels Fast in Port Charles
Just as Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was about to leave with James West (Gary James Fuller) and Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) in tow, Maxie shocked them all by waltzing out to the hallway and stepping right back into the role of mother.
We can only expect she’ll be just as eager to do the same at work, and I’m betting she’ll try to before the doctors give her the a-okay.
Word of Maxie waking up should make its way back to Sidwell in record time since he’s a financial backbone to Deception.
Lucy is the Lynchpin?
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has big plans in mind to see to it that Sidwell sinks. Might Maxie’s awakening be the way she shoehorns her way back into his life after that tantrum she threw over Ava Jerome (Maura West)? When he turned down her impromptu ultimatum — asking him to choose between her or Ava, Lucy took it personally, of course.
Now we must wonder whether Maxie remembers her train of thought on Sidwell just before her heart attack, and whether she’ll clue Lucy in.
Could Lucy’s re-entry into Sidwell’s life become more than just a means to unearthing what he’s up to at Deception, but what he did to Maxie? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
