General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones Kept Her Baby’s Identity A Secret
General Hospital viewers will recall that Maxie has kept her baby’s identity a secret, in order to preserve her life. General Hospital viewers remember that Maxie agreed to give baby Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) who has been hiding her in plain sight as her baby, Bailey Lois Quartermaine (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).
It worked out great considering Brook Lynn needed to produce a real baby to take the place of her fictitious one and Maxie needed to protect Louise from her father, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). But now Maxie wonders what to do when Peter eventually is no longer a problem – will Brook Lynn be able to give her up? The threads of secrecy are unraveling bit by bit by bit and Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has almost figured out their secret, as has Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). General Hospital viewers know that Valentin is not the only one attached to “Bailey”, so are the rest of the Quartermaines and Brook Lynn, of course!
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Kept Sonny Corinthos’ Identity A Secret
General Hospital viewers know that Nina kept Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) identity a secret for many months as well – and now she is already paying a price! General Hospital viewers will remember that when Sonny was suffering from amnesia and living as “Mike” he had not wanted to know who he really was or who might be waiting for him and missing him where ever he was from. He even told Nina that when she tried to broach the subject with him! If Peter had not showed up in Nixon Falls, she and Mike and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) might all still be living their simpler, but in some ways fictitious life and Mike may never have known he was Sonny Corinthos, mob boss. Indeed, Mike may have not wanted to be Sonny!
Now Nina awaits her court date, with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) having had her arrested for fraud and identity theft, and her decision to keep that secret may have cost her dearly – she may never be able to see or spend time with her grandson Wiley Corinthos (Kyler and Caleb Ends) again!
General Hospital Spoilers – Both Nina Reeves And Maxie Jones’ Secrets May Have Cost Them Relationships
General Hospital viewers know that both Nina and Maxie’s keeping secrets may have cost them relationships with children – Maxie with Louise, and Nina with Wiley. Maxie fears that she may never get Louise back because of the length of time she’s been hidden in plain sight as Bailey, although it’s not like she would remember a whole lot of that life. It’s different with Wiley – he’s older and he knows Nina is his grandma and cutting off that relationship for good would hurt him, he’s old enough to remember.
Peter is a factor in both of their situations – only with Maxie, he and his actions forced her to keep a secret to protect their baby, with Nina, his actions forced her secret to be exposed, and indirectly forced Sonny’s memories to the surface! General Hospital viewers know that for Maxie, she will never regret doing what she did to protect Louise, although she fears the consequences of her secret coming out. With Nina, she lives to regret keeping her secret, because she was only protecting herself and the safe little fantasy she’d created for herself and “Mike”!
