York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) are actually Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) parents, and fans might end up split on whether or not they like the explanation behind how she came to be. Years ago, Felicia found herself trapped in the wiles of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). He was captivating in a way, and it took time for Felicia to realize just what kind of darkness lurked behind Ryan’s eyes.

He wasn’t a man of mystery but a murderous psychopath. It took time for Felicia to understand what she was dealing with living with Ryan, but eventually she did, and she left him and everything that happened between them in the past. However, Ryan would continue to haunt her for years to come, although the memory of her daughter still escapes her.

GH Spoilers Hint Heather Played a Role Way Back Then

If this is how it all went down, then how did Heather Webber (Alley Mills) come into play, and why are she and Ryan pretending to be Esme’s parents? Ryan may have made contact with Heather first, contrary to what we’ve been shown. It’s hard to say who found Esme first, but Ryan may have thought that was the best way he could re-enter Felicia’s orbit, despite his claims that he was so over her.

When he showed up at Wyndemere to confront Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), he wasn’t disappointed to find Felicia there, too. If Ryan and Heather are pretending to be Esme’s parents, it may be because they want to stick it to Mac and Felicia one last time and traumatize their child as a result of their antics.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Symbology Between Felicia and Esme is Thick

Esme is currently suffering from amnesia and her memory loss has her blanking on her entire past up until the point that she was admitted to General Hospital for hypothermia. It’s convenient how this worked out for Esme, but the memory loss could be a nod to the same experience Felicia had years ago from being brainwashed by Ryan into forgetting she even had this baby girl that he ripped away from her.
