General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Corners Willow, Why Won’t She Let Drew Communicate?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will confront Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) this week on the ABC soap.
It’s a totally valid question after Elizabeth noticed Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) blinking SOS, and yet his wife doesn’t want any additional communication aids for him!
Liz Was Excited To Tell Nina And Kai It Was Time For More Advanced Communication Aids
Elizabeth was excited to tell Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) that it was time for more advanced communication aids for Drew.
She told Kai that Drew was asking for help and they needed to figure out what kind of help he was asking for, and Nina returned from making her phone call. Nina just remarked rather unemotionally that Willow would be happy to hear that.
But it looks like, although the implication was that Willow would be happy, she’ll be anything but, and Liz will have heard nothing more on the matter.
It’s surprising if Kai doesn’t follow up on it, but then, he only knows about Willow shooting Drew, not about the faked locked-in syndrome!
Elizabeth Follows Up With Willow About The Matter
It looks like Elizabeth will follow up with Willow about the matter, only to be told she’s not interested in Drew getting any more advanced communication aids than the blinking system! Obviously, that’s going to make Liz suspicious as to exactly what is going on here-but then, she never expected Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun in her room in Elizabeth’s house either.
Eilzabeth has stayed out of the fray between Willow accusing Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) of shooting Drew so far, but then with Willow acquitted for the shooting, she can’t be charged again.
Elizabeth doesn’t understand at all why Willow wouldn’t want Drew to learn to communicate with more than blinks, it’s a major improvement for him, and she demands answers!
Willow Will Have To Think Quick To Come Up With An Excuse That Liz Might Buy!
Obviously, Willow will have to think quick to come up with an excuse that Liz might buy, even though as a nurse, those advanced communication aids should be something she knows about.
Willow could try lying that she looked into them, but they are on backorder, but that might not work- that would be too easy a lie for Liz to debunk! Perhaps she’ll try a similar approach to what she blackmailed Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) with, and cut off medical funding to the hospital.
That might work, if the communication aids have to be ordered, and there aren’t any on site at the hospital. After all, General Hospital doesn’t have locked-in stroke patients very often!
