General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Begs Nikolas to Do the Right Thing — What is That, Exactly?

General Hospital Spoilers tease Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will plead with her son, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), to do the right thing, but it seems they have very different ideas of what that is. Laura believes Nikolas should beg Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) for his forgiveness and open up his heart to his son, but Nikolas knows he cannot do that. He was forced to turn Spencer away from Wyndemere when he got out of Pentonville early because little did Spencer know his father was holding a fugitive hostage in the north tower of their family home.

To Spencer and everyone else, it looks like Nikolas is keeping his son at arm’s length, but really, he was covering his own behind once again. When Laura confronts Nikolas and asks for an explanation for his behavior, and he turns up nothing, she just might decide an ultimatum is the best way for her to move forward with her son.

When Spencer announces to the people he loves most that he intends to file for custody of his father’s child with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), he’ll do so with the thought in mind that he will be far more well-positioned to secure custody than his father will be.

Rumor has it Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) might even invite Spencer to move back into Wyndemere, sans Nikolas. Spencer has an inheritance and all the family support he could need to pull this off, and Nikolas appears to only have Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in his corner, and she’s partially there only because they’re bound to one another by the crimes they have committed. Nikolas might long to reconnect with his son, but Spencer’s willingness to take Nik’s child from him will change that quickly.

GH Spoilers Suggest Laura is Caught in the Middle

With Spencer and Nikolas at war once again, Laura will find herself smack dab in the middle of it and hating every moment. So much for doing the right thing. Her son is feeling bitter and resentful while her grandson actually feels much the same and has positioned himself to take it all out on his father while using an innocent baby to do it. Meanwhile, Laura isn’t convinced that either of them are any better of a parent figure for the child than Esme would be — and she thinks Esme deserves the chance to prove it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Will Do Right By Ava

There is one person who doesn’t have to worry about Nikolas wronging them, but he did have a head start on that already when he cheated on Ava with Esme and got her pregnant, and then feigned cheating on her again with Elizabeth and getting her pregnant as well. Ava hasn’t figured out that ruse just yet, but she will.

In the meantime, Nikolas is going to leave Ava with everything she asked for, and he’s exiting Wyndemere right now, per her request.
