General Hospital Spoilers: Kai and Trina Come Through as Heroes for Drew?
General Hospital spoilers whisper Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) had a lot of explaining to do when Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) showed up at Drew and Willow Tait Cain’s (Cameron Mathison, Katelyn MacMullen) place to answer his plea for help.
Days ago, Kai was intending to quit his job as Drew’s assistant and move on to greener, less muddied pastures.
Now, it seems he has flipped on his original decision, and Trina might struggle to understand that with how badly she just wants to move on.
For Kai, it might not be that easy. Sure, Drew hasn’t been the greatest guy, but should he be left alone in Willow’s care, and how will Kai and Trina feel if something else happens to him under her watch?
Nina’s Words are Ringing in Kai’s Ears
When Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) told Kai that he might want to reconsider his decision to leave Drew behind, he took it to heart.
While Nina might have been focused on Kai being able to do good work and build up his professional reputation, her words may have signaled a different train of thought for Kai: could he do good work for Drew? Could he stick around and tolerate an essentially bound and gagged Congressman Cutthroat in the name of doing the right and moral thing and keeping an eye out for him?
Third Time’s the Charm
Willow already shot Drew in the back — twice. She watched him fight to get back from that and stand by her side as she defended herself in court against allegations that she did it.
The whole time, she knew she did, and now, Drew knows she did too. But unable to do more than blink his eyes, Drew can’t communicate what he knows, nor how he feels about Willow now that he has the whole picture. Will Kai sticking around benefit him — or Willow — the most?
The Final Countdown
If we know Willow, she’s not looking forward to taking care of Drew for the rest of her life. Instead, she’ll have to find some way to pass the buck — be that via his death, or her moving on in some other fashion.
It’s going to be hard to just dump him in the condition he’s in, unless she has pretty damning evidence of the ways he has wronged her — and in ways she hasn’t already been made privy to.
Since that doesn’t look to be the case, she’s in this for the current long haul, and she’ll have to get creative about her escape hatch.
What are the odds her exit is contingent on his death? If Kai and Trina keep tabs on Willow, they may be the only ones capable of stopping whatever she has planned next. Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
