General Hospital Spoilers: Joss Comforts Trina After a Fight with Spencer, Who Seeks Refuge with Esme
General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has never sidestepped her duties as a best friend, and she’s not about to start now. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might normally run to her mother — Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) — with this type of thing, but she knows how Portia feels about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Right now, she needs someone to hate Spencer with her, but that doesn’t mean she wants to give her mom more reasons to dislike her boyfriend. Joss will provide the most support when Trina finds herself steering clear of her beau and questioning whether her relationship with Spencer can last. Meanwhile, Spencer will seek a different kind of comfort.

Trina thought she and Spencer had turned over a new leaf when they were working to save Ace Cassaine (Jay and Joey Clay) over in Greenland. But it seems that they existed in a vacuum aboard the Haunted Star. Back in Port Chuck, life is getting real and she is growing increasingly aware that Spencer’s capacity to behave like a humbled, grown man is more limited than she previously wanted to admit to herself.

Joss knows how Spencer can be; she’s known the guy longer than she’s even known Trina. There is nowhere else that Joss would be when Trina is nursing a broken heart than by her side, loathing Spencer’s existence in solidarity like any good girlfriend. But Joss may push Trina to consider whether Spencer has really changed, or if he’s actually been this person all along and she just wouldn’t let herself see it. Trina will have to fight any urges to claim Joss has her own agenda like Portia does.

Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) might be out of town and out of reach, but that doesn’t mean Spencer is on his own — even with his grandmother another world away. Esme has been itching for a way to get closer to Spencer, and learning that Trina won’t be coming around for a while is the best way for her to take action. Can she use this time-out in Spencer’s relationship with Trina as a means to make sure it ends?
