General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Left in Laura’s Car… Not Realizing Someone’s Watching?

General Hospital spoilers tease Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) showed up on demand when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) called to clean up another mess, another body.
Creating a narrative around what happened to Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton (Daniel Goddard) isn’t going to be as simple as some of Sonny’s past misdeeds and murders.
In fact, this time around, it was Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) who killed Dalton, and had him stuffed into Mayor Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) trunk.
In a moment of panic, Laura called upon Sonny to help her, and he did so in the way he knew how to. Now, it’s too late for her to turn back the clock. Some fans think Laura’s roadside experience left too much room for onlookers to see what transpired. Could it be that was the whole point?
Who’s There?
I thought it was just me who suspected there could have been someone watching from the woods as Laura pulled off the road and found a dead body in the trunk of her sedan.
It was the last thing she was expecting, but that doesn’t mean it was unexpected to Sidwell, who had to have arranged for his body to wind up there.
Wouldn’t it benefit him in his goal to take Laura down to have her followed, and possibly even collect photographic evidence of her witnessing the body in her trunk and having it carted off by Jason? Sidwell is nothing if not strategic; I find it hard to believe he didn’t play his cards to the full extent that he could in this situation.
Someone like Pascal (Marc Forget) or even Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) could have been watching the whole time.
GH Spoilers Reveal There’s Something Off About Nathan
Ever since Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) returned from the grave, the fans have been questioning whether he’s the real thing or not.
Most of the evidence is pointing to him being some kind of brainwashed or mind-mapped recreation and not the real Nathan at all.
Some fans have even suggested GH may go in the direction of clones as people like Nathan and Britt. When Nathan stopped to check on Laura on the side of the road, he was his usual chatty and friendly self, and was stopped just short of popping that trunk open.
Was that all laying tracks though? Could Nathan also be working for Sidwell, and if so, did he follow Laura out there just so there was evidence on record that a police officer was present and Laura still said nothing and did not ask for help from anyone but a renowned mob boss?
Laura’s Next Move
Laura’s next move could make or break her newly re-established position as the Mayor. She didn’t want to lose her seat in office, and whens he won again, she was overjoyed.
But her world came crashing down in the hours after the election. How will she navigate what to say and how to explain her whereabouts when she was alone until after Dalton was dead, at least from the looks of it? Previews show her wanting to come clean in some regard, but Sonny worries she will risk blowing both of them up.
Can Laura handle keeping her lips zipped and sticking to the script Sonny gives her, or will her moral duties keep her from spilling her guts in an effort to absolve her own guilt? If someone saw Laura find Dalton, or Nathan is actually in on it, then Nathan can corroborate that Laura was with Sonny and likely can attest to Jason driving her car and bringing it back with a freshly cleaned cabin and trunk.
How will she explain any of this? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
