General Hospital Spoilers: Jacklyn Zeman Tribute Tied to Bobbie’s Amsterdam Visit?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers General Hospital show that this week Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) announced that she is going to Amsterdam to help Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) settle the late Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) affairs. Luke was Tracy’s husband and Bobbie’s brother.
General Hospital spoilers: Luke Has Passed On
Jacklyn Zeman portrayed Bobbie Spencer for decades, and sadly she passed on this May. It was understood that the character was already in Amsterdam sorting out her brother’s affairs and before she did that she sold the diner Kelly’s to her daughter Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for a dollar.
The show has yet to address the passing of one of its true icons, and this trip may be a way for the show to pay homage to Bobbie.
The show has done an admirable job over the years of honoring and paying tribute to actors they have lost. We expect nothing less for Zeman who fans watched grow up onscreen.
It’s possible that Bobbie will face her demise in Amsterdam, just as Luke did, and in a way that would be a fine tribute to the character who was utterly devoted to her big brother and protector.
General Hospital spoilers: Luke Spencer Died in Amsterdam
Luke perished in an instigated cable car crash at the hands of evil Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). There are a million ways for the show to take this storyline, with Bobbie’s death being an accident either on a cable car, on the plane, or in some other way. Or Bobbie may leave this earth in a way that pays tribute to her dedication to the helping profession.
She was a nurse at GH for many years and Bobbie would never hesitate to help someone who needed it.
GH Spoilers: Bobbie Travels to Amsterdam
A similar thoughtful exit was written for nurse Epiphany Johnson, played by Sonya Eddy. After the unexpected death of Eddy, the show wrote a story in which the character died offscreen, in a situation in which she ws helping someone in distress.
There is no doubt that General Hospital will pay tribute to one of its finest leading ladies, Jacklyn Zeman, in the near future. It is speculation that the Amsterdam trip will somehow tie into her memorial, but it seems likely since Tracy brought it up to begin with. Until then we will just have to wait and see how the show presents what is sure to be a beautiful and poignant sendoff to one of daytime’s leading lights.

I loved Bobbie and there are so many moments on GH i can’t just pick one
2 special memories: 1- when the family went back in time- when Bobbie, Luke, and the other sister were part of the parents- Mother resembling Carly and I’m not sure of the Father. # 2- When Bobbie lost B .J.- so many storylines to pick. She was a fantastic actress and will be missed.
