General Hospital Spoilers: Is Trina Really to Blame for Her Lackluster Relationship with Spencer?
General Hospital spoilers suggest Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has been taking entirely too much heat from herself when it comes to her relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Not having been in a serious relationship before, it seems as though Trina has no real barometer for just how much she should be willing to tolerate within it. Spencer keeps asking for grace, and it does seem as though he’s doing everything he can to accommodate Trina’s feelings.
But that doesn’t mean it’s easy for her to watch him play house with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) every day. Trina recently told Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that she’s been more impatient than she likes with this relationship, and with Spencer. But does she have it all wrong, and is she actually far more entitled to those feelings than she knows?
General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Holds Back
Trina has been hesitant to really share how she feels with Spencer. She claims she doesn’t want to come off as being too clingy or demanding. She seems to understand that Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay)needs to come first, but sometimes it does feel like he and Esme are a package deal.
That means Esme ends up prioritized over Trina, and that means Spencer’s relationship with Esme is growing while his relationship with Trina isn’t.
Still, every time she speaks up about her malcontentment, she restrains herself. She might be to blame for this part of the equation.
GH Spoilers Hint Spencer is Lying to Himself
Spencer went above and beyond last week to let Trina know she is the only girl for him. Esme is nothing but Ace’s mother, and he’s working with her for the betterment of his baby brother.
Nothing more. But is that really true? We’ve seen the way he looks at Esme as she tends to Ace’s every need. He is more than just surprised she turned out to be a good mother; he’s impressed by her.
She’s giving Ace everything he didn’t have. That means something to him. We’ve also seen how he looks at her when she’s in a swimsuit, mmkay? That’s all Spencer.
General Hospital Spoilers — Are Spencer and Trina Fading to Black?
Sometimes, relationships fizzle out and it’s not really any one person’s fault. In Port Charles though, that doesn’t tend to be the case. Everyone seems to hang onto their relationship just a wee bit too long until someone finally screws up.
Trina is continually putting her feelings on the back burner and settling for less than what she needs in hopes that someday, there will be more time for her in Spencer’s life.
In reality, it doesn’t look like that day is coming anytime soon. This could leave Sprina in a precarious place where Trina is vulnerable to another man’s affections.
