General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves, played by actress Cynthia Watros, is one of the most polarizing figures on the show right now.

There are fans that are #TeamNina and then there are viewers who absolutely hate how the Editor and Chief of Crimson conducts herself. Then again, there are audience members who simply love to hate her.

With the way Nina’s storyline is playing out, some recent social media posts from Watros have some fans wondering if she’s on her way out of GH.

GH spoilers hint that Nina Reeves could be leaving the land of Port Charles. May Sweeps is a month that can bring shocking plot twists, and it’s not uncommon for a character to make a surprising exit during this time.

Speculation around Nina’s exit began in April when Cynthia Watros posted something interesting on the social media platform, X. On April 22, Watros tweeted, “I love you my Sona/Niva peeps. Loved every minute of this journey (heart emoji)”.

While many fans believed this was simply a way to pay tribute to the relationship between Nina and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), as well as the beautiful friendship Ms. Reeves once had with Ava Jerome (Maura West), others saw it as a tease that Nina could exit the canvas.

It’s important to note that Watros posted this after Nina found out about Ava’s betrayal, where Ms. Jerome convinced Reeves to sell Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) her share of the Metro Court in order to win Sonny’s favor and hopefully reunite with him.

Nina realized she had been bamboozled by her BFF and finally signed her divorce papers to the mob boss and officially ended her friendship with Ava. This signaled the end of an era for the Sona romance and Niva friendship.

But is there more to this?

More recently, Watros posted a video to her IG handle, scanning balloons, flowers, and other gifts. The caption stated, “Without expecting … a day comes along that will stay with you forever, it doesn’t happen often but when it does you need stop and pay attention (heart emoji). Today was that day for me. Thank you for all the love my friends.”

Were the flowers and gifts, “goodbye” presents? Could Cynthia’s X and IG posts mean she’s on her way out? It’s hard to say. While things are over with Sonny, Nina has jumped into an interesting storyline with once-nemesis, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and her daughter Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) seems to be softening her stance toward her bio mom. Only time will tell.
