General Hospital spoilers tease that Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) cut Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) out of her life, and her children’s lives, lone before Jason disappeared and was presumed dead.
Jason was Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) right hand man within the criminal Corinthos Organization. That meant danger followed Jason everywhere he went, and Sonny’s enemies wouldn’t hesitate to harm her or their children to get to him.
She feels the same way now, which is why she has forbidden their son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) from having anything to do with Jason.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall found love with Dante Falconeri
In recent years, Sam has fallen in love with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna), and the two of them have blended their families.
Up until recently, Sam hasn’t said much about Dante’s chosen profession as a cop. That’s likely because in the time they have been together, Dante hasn’t really found himself in danger.
But all that changed a couple months ago when Dante was shot and almost died. Sam was beside herself with worry that Dante might die.

Dante returned to work after he recovered. However, when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) joined the force, Dante told Sam he was more worried about information than Dex had on his father than anything else.
To make matters worse, Sonny visited Dante and planted the seed that Dante might need to look the other way if Sonny’s crimes came under police scrutiny. Not wanting to compromise himself, Dante planned to resign. Sam admitted that she was thrilled with Dante’s decision.

But Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) convinced Dante not to resign and that he would not be assigned any case that had to do with Sonny.
Of course, Sam wasn’t happy when she found out because she had gotten her hopes up that Dante would no longer be putting himself in danger on a daily basis. Sam will likely soon come to the realization that Jason and Dante aren’t that different when it comes to dangerous situations.
She might even decide to look at Jason in a new old light and at least be open to him having a relationship with their son. Down the road, she might even realize she still loves Jason as much as ever.

So it took all of this time for Sam to discover both Jason/Dante live dangerous lives the only difference being one lawful and the other unlawful. Thought Sam had more sense than this, another female character being dumbed down.
