General Hospital Spoilers: Is Jason Next to Be Killed Off and Brought Back to Life — By Britt?

General Hospital spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to be missing in action for a few months this Spring, and Burton’s confirmation of his hiatus is sending fans into a real tizzy trying to figure out what will become of Stone Cold.
Of course, everyone’s worst fear is that Jason will be killed off for the hundredth time — a storyline we’re all a little bit sick of.
But he can’t be revived from beyond the grave if he doesn’t “die” first — at least that looks like how it works.
With Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) carrying out her father’s research back on Spoon Island, will it be up to her to bring Jason back as the next leg of this experiment continues on from herself and her brother?
What is Cold Fusion Anyway?
It’s starting to sound like Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) Cold Fusion project has something to do with the ability to revive people from the dead. Well, sort of.
We aren’t sure yet that they actually are dead. Britt made it pretty clear that she absolutely thought she was dying that New Year’s Eve in her mother’s arms, but Faison’s fans had other plans.
Somehow, they arrested her near-death state and revived her at some point later. It’s possible that they did the same thing to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) when Faison shot him.

GH Spoilers Gush Britt and Nathan May Not Be the Same
Just because Nathan and Britt are both back from the “dead’ doesn’t mean they are who they say they are, or that they are even who they think they are. Furthermore, it doesn’t mean they’ll stay the way they are either.
We have no idea what kind of machinations exist behind this research. For all we know, Sidwell and his cronies could have total control over them — and choose to exercise it at any time.
Nathan could go from his loving demeanor to a complete monster like his father. Britt could fall back into more nefarious ways.
Master Manipulation
Some fans suspect Jason is going to go missing, and if that is the case, I suspect it’ll be when he ventures off to Wyndemere in search of Britt’s medication.
If there is an element of control over the victim, Britt may be hesitant to “save” Jason from this “death” should it mean he would be back and under Sidwell’s control.
Still, she might be left as the only person to rescue him from this fate, and it could be her job to bring him back just like they did to her and Nathan.
If that’s the case, which way will she choose? Share your thoughts with us in the comments, and keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
