General Hospital Spoilers: In A Surprise Twist, Laura Aligns With Esme As Ava Jumps On Team Nikolas
General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has far less to worry about than she thinks she does. Certainly, Laura was suspicious about Esme’s trip to Wyndemere on Christmas Eve.
But hearing from Esme that she just wanted to see if it sparked any memories — and that it failed to — was all Laura needed to hear. She takes almost everyone at face value and believes what they say — until they prove to her that she shouldn’t.
This new Esme hasn’t done that yet. Laura will have compassion for how serious Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is when he conveys his suspicions about Esme, but that’s not going to force her hand or make her jump on his bandwagon.
As the truth comes out about what Spencer has done in giving Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), Laura will stick by Esme while Spencer reaps the benefits of a different ally on Team Nikolas — Ava Jerome (Maura West).
General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Isn’t Alone
Laura is going to have questions about why Esme didn’t immediately report Ace as missing or being kidnapped by his estranged father. Yes, even though it’s her son and she doesn’t want to see him carted off to prison, he’s already a wanted man.
She’ll be disappointed and sorrowful at the outcome — her son has turned into this man who comes home only to manipulate Spencer into helping him commit a crime.
Spencer may now be on the hook as an accomplice to that crime, and he’ll likely just hope no one can track Ace and Nikolas down. But Laura is going to be steadfast in her commitment to helping Esme reunite with her son, which may have Spencer and Laura on opposite sides for the first time.
GH Spoilers Hint Ava Isn’t Please With Laura
Ava was certain that Laura pulled some strings to get Esme released from paying any penalty for having broken into Wyndemere. It made little sense to her at the time, but she could see that Laura was trying to do the right thing and only ended up misguided on what the right thing was.
Laura is the one who encouraged Esme to tell the truth and turn herself in for breaking into the Spoon Island mansion, only to then panic as Ava stuck it to her and wanted her to go to jail for her crime.
It was clear to Laura that Ava was trying to make Esme pay for her past crimes via this new one. Still, when the judge let Esme go, Ava was furious, and she isn’t going to forget whose side Laura was on.
General Hospital Spoilers — Team Nikolas
While Laura is working to help Esme find her son, Spencer is going to cozy up to an unlikely ally in Ava as they try to thwart their efforts.
Fortunately, Spencer and Ava are the only two people in Port Charles who had any communication with Nikolas while he was back in town.
They are the only two with any potential information on where he has gone and what his intentions are with Ace. Will they work against Laura, Esme, and the PCPD to help them stay gone? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
Laura being team Esme is no surprise as she has been almost since day one.
What the hell is wrong with Laura? Has she lost her mind. I bet before long she’ll be on Cyrus new show. She is the only one on the show that at one time thought everything threw. Now I’m not to sure about that.
