General Hospital Spoilers leak Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) were married once upon a time, and it appears that Sidwell is far less concerned with news of their entanglement getting out around Port Charles than she is.
Natalia didn’t appear happy to bump into Sidwell in her own workspace, and she couldn’t wait to make a quick exit so that her colleagues didn’t learn of her ties to the clearly unpopular patron at Deception.
But we’ve got bigger questions than whether these two ended on good terms. Is Sidwell actually Alison ’Blaze’ Rogers’ (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) dad?
Wouldn’t This Have Come Up?
How could Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) not know who Blaze’s dad is? Rather, how would she not know if Blaze’s dad was an international jewel thief? You’d think that kind of bombshell would’ve slipped out over late-night chats or the pillow talk, right?
Blaze was pretty tight-lipped about her family history, but if Sidwell is her father, it’s a wonder Natalia managed to keep that under wraps while Kristina was cozying up to her daughter.
Did Blaze inherit her mom’s knack for dodging the spotlight, or is there something deeper at play — like maybe Natalia swore her to secrecy?
Either way, Kristina and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are both bound to feel blindsided if this juicy tidbit drops, and we’re betting it’ll spark some serious drama between the mob boss, his daughter, and Natalia.
Shouldn’t Sonny Know?
Given that Natalia only came to town because of Blaze being there, doesn’t it make the most sense that Sonny would already know who her father is?
Moreover, wouldn’t it be most like the mob boss to have investigated Blaze’s background whenever Kristina got together with her, or are we supposed to assume that Sonny was just trusting Krissy to make the right choices for herself?
Perhaps we can cut the storyline some slack here since Sonny’s meds were being tampered with at the time, leaving him disoriented, paranoid, and isolated from his loved ones.
Still, it’s hard to imagine Sonny not sniffing out a connection to a guy like Sidwell — unless Natalia has been playing her cards closer to the vest than we thought. Could this be the secret that finally puts Sonny back on his A-game?
Jason Finds Out First?
We can expect that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to grow more interested in figuring out whether Sidwell was the person who planted that explosive device in Sonny’s penthouse apartment.
That means he’s going to start digging into Sidwell’s background — and he’s probably not expecting to find Natalia in it. Jason has a nose for trouble, and once he uncovers this ex-spouse bombshell, it won’t take him long to wonder if Sidwell has got a bigger stake in Port Charles — like, say, a vendetta against his ex that made Sonny his latest target.
Whoever gets there first, this revelation is set to ignite a firestorm—will Sonny cut Natalia loose once he learns she’s been hiding a Sidwell-sized secret, or will Blaze’s paternity twist everything we thought we knew? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see how this plays out.
