General Hospital Spoilers: Gladys Corbin Turn To Cody Bell To Save Sasha Gilmore, With A Stipulation
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 21st suggest a very interesting plot twist in the storyline involving Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), her mother-in-law Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burrows), and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), a.k.a. “Dr. Monty”.
Fans have struggled watching poor Sasha go loopy at Ferncliffe; however, is there hope that she can finally be saved and put this mess behind her?
GH Spoilers: Gladys Corbin Finally Puts Her Foot Down
GH spoilers for the week of August 21st indicate that Gladys will see Sasha’s state in the coming days and try to put an end to it all. Ms. Gilmore is not doing well at Ferncliffe and is a shadow of her former self, thanks to the drugs Dr. Monty has been injecting into her.
The weekly preview reveals that Ms. Corbin will be shocked by what her daughter-in-law has become and will question what the good doctor has done to her.
She’ll also ask her to put a stop to it all; however, Dr. Monty will make it clear that she needs to pay him off in order to do so.
Gladys will be stuck between a rock and a hard place. She does care for Sasha, but she also loves the money that comes with being her “guardianship”.
She’ll want to put an end to this entire thing, but if Dr. Monty is asking for too much, she may not want to. She also won’t want to come completely clean about what she’s done.
After all, she could face jail time, Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) wrath, and, lose her job, along with Sasha’s friendship.
GH Spoilers: Gladys Turns To Cody For The Assist, But Has A Condition
Could Gladys blackmail Cody Bell (Josh Kelly? She may approach him out of pure desperation because she knows how much the young man cares for Sasha.
Plus, the fact that he’s a bit of a hustler himself, Ms. Corbin will see that he can help with this situation. As he’s been a part of the gambling games at the Savoy, she could blackmail him into helping her get Sasha out of Ferncliff to bring Dr. Monty down but keep all the details about her role in all this, to himself.
The two may come to an agreement where Gilmore is saved, she’ll back off of their “friendship”, but he’ll keep her gambling and spending stuff undercover.
