General Hospital spoilers tease that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has gotten herself into quite a mess with Selina Wu (Lydia Look). As viewers know, Gladys was named the conservator of Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) which means that she has control of all her daughter-in-law’s vast finances. Sasha is doing quite well for herself as a partner in Deception but ran into some legal troubles last year that brought about the need for a conservator.

As Sasha’s husband, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was named her conservator. But his untimely death at the hands of The Hook prompted the need for a replacement. Gladys hasn’t always been the most responsible person, but she loves Sasha and wanted to step up for her deceased son’s widow. Unfortunately, Selina invited Gladys to participate in her high-stakes poker games held in the back room at the Savoy. Gladys soon found herself in massive debt and Selina expects her to make good on what she owes.

Meanwhile, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is working for Selina at the poker games. His role is to entice players to increase the amount they part with. He’s also become friends with Sasha. Now that he knows that Gladys is Sasha’s conservator, he may find himself compelled to let Sasha in on what Gladys has been doing with Sasha’s money. Gladys is hoping to earn back the money so Sasha never finds out. Look for her to make a desperate plea to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

Gladys is related to mobster Sonny Corinthos. Sonny has allowed Selina to have her poker games in his territory since it doesn’t infringe on his own dealings. But if Gladys goes to Sonny, he will be furious that Selina is going after his own cousin. This could lead to trouble between the Wu and Corinthos clans, possibly escalating into a mob war. Will Sonny simply cover Gladys’ debt or will he go after Selina?
