General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Tries To Bond With Cam, Cam Pushes Back!
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will try to bond with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) in an upcoming episode of GH. But Cam will push back, not really having had an opportunity to decide how he feels about his mom moving on with him!
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Came To Talk To Cameron Webber At Kelly’s
Cameron’s grandmother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) talked to him as he was working his shift at Kelly’s, trying to convince him to go on the camping trip with his brothers. Finn, Gregory Chase, (Gregory Harrison) Aiden Spencer, (Enzo DeAngelis) Jake Spencer, (Hudson West) and Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) were all going and Cameron had refused. Laura finally convinced him to go at the last minute after Violet popped in the door and told him to hurry and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) showed up.
Cameron has been very busy with holding two part time jobs to help the family and trying to maintain his relationship with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). He’s also been fighting the fallout of the revenge porn that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) framed Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for and hasn’t gotten to know Finn very well.
GH Spoilers – Cameron Webber Is Feeling The Impact Of His Mother’s Absence
Cameron is obviously feeling the impact of his mother’s absence as Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has been struggling to get well at Shadybrook Sanitarium. Cameron is the one who discovered Elizabeth in a fugue state, cutting up the drawings of the family that Violet had made for her, something she would never do normally.
That has to be impacting him adversely, plus he is the one of the boys who seemed to take Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) the hardest. Jake had been acting out, but he was reacting to both Franco and his birth father Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) death. Since Franco’s death, Cameron has been taking the role of “the man of the family” and working to help support them all so perhaps he subconsciously resents Finn’s intrusion.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Tries To Buddy Up To Cameron Webber
On the camping trip, Finn tries to buddy up to Cam, but it doesn’t work; Cameron pushes back at him, not because he necessarily dislikes him. Cameron just feels like he’s being forced to accept him as the prominent male in his household – he took a long time to bond with Franco as well. For one thing, trust isn’t built overnight, and Cameron really hasn’t gotten to know Finn because he’s been so busy trying to keep his family together.
Cameron knows he has to accept Finn eventually if he and Elizabeth would eventually marry but it’s like he’s been on the outside looking in. Still, Cameron has lost quite a few father figures in his relatively short life as Elizabeth went between Jason and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) who has been largely absentee.
GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Baldwin Has Dated Many Men In Cameron Webber’s Life
There were others that Elizabeth dated as well before Franco came along and gave some semblance of stability. For instance Jason has always been on the periphery even though she never married him, as well as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who still cares, but is always busy. It’s no wonder that Cameron has a difficult time trusting and bonding to any man in Elizabeth’s life – Finn hasn’t been involved long enough for Cameron to trust him! As for Finn, he is probably trying too hard to bond with Cameron without realizing what he’s been through with all the father figures in his relatively short life!

First off, Lucky hasn’t been a part of their lives AT ALL. He is NO FATHER, just a sperm donor. As for the relationship between Finn and Liz, it’s been going on for over a year. Plenty of time for Cam to get to know Finn & they have all been camping already.
