General Hospital Spoilers: Ferncliff’s Nurse Janice Working With Dr. Montague?
General Hospital spoilers hint that Ferncliff’s Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) is in on the plan to ruin Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson). Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) have gone way too far. The evil duo wanted Gladys to remain Sasha’s guardian so that she would continue having access to her daughter-in-law’s money.
Their plot has gone all the way to drugging Sasha and having her locked up in Ferncliff. Nurse Janice is guarding access to Sasha. Is she just doing her job or is she working with the doctor and Gladys?
General Hospital Spoilers: Who Is Nurse Janice?
There is not much background on the new nurse other than she is a big fan of the singing duo Blaze and Chase. Chase is Harrison Chase, played by Josh Swickard. No wonder Janice is a fan – Lauren Swickard, who plays Janice, just happens to be Josh Swickard’s real-life wife.
Josh has played Chase on GH since 2018, and Lauren has been a working actor for years. The couple met while working on the film Roped and later appeared together in the Netflix movie A California Christmas and the sequel, A California Christmas: City Lights. It remains to be seen whether the husband and wife will share scenes on General Hospital.
Is Nurse Janice Working With Dr. Montague And Gladys?
The awful psychiatrist prescribed drugs for Sasha that he knew would push her over the edge. Now he has her locked away in Ferncliff with Gladys controlling who gets in and out of her room. So far, no one has seen Sasha and what horrible shape she is in. Meanwhile, Dr. Montague continues to drug her.
Nurse Janice works at the desk in the asylum. She has been extremely strict about who she allows in. So far, not many visitors have gotten through. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) pretended to be Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to go into Sasha’s room. Nurse Janice would not let him through because he didn’t have ID.
BLQ found Janice’s weakness and distracted her with a Blaze and Chase song so Cody could sneak a visit. Sasha was too drugged to recognize him, so that visit ended in disaster. Under normal circumstances, Nurse Janice would be doing a good job. She stops visitors who aren’t on Gladys’ list. But these are not normal circumstances. She may be on Dr. Montague’s team and helping him to destroy poor Sasha.
The Awful Place That Is Ferncliff
The care at Ferncliff Asylum is questionable at best. In 2018, Nurse Mary Pat Ingles (Patricia Bethune) tormented Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) while she was a patient. Later, Mary Pat and Dr. Lasaris (Casey Biggs) attempted to give Carly electroshock treatment. Fortunately, she was rescued just in time.
Also in 2018, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) escaped from Ferncliff and switched places with his twin brother. Nobody at the asylum realized that they had the wrong brother. The place needs either an overhaul or to be shut down. Stay tuned to see what Nurse Janice is up to on General Hospital.
