General Hospital Spoilers: Felicia Reads Mac the Riot Act and Whips Him Into Fatherly Shape?
General Hospital Spoilers report Felicia Scoprio (Kristina Wagner) is getting fed up with her hubby, Mac Scorpio (John J. York). These two have been through thick and thin over the years. This uphill battle over Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) certainly won’t tear them apart, but they’re not on the same page either.
Felicia is more than ready for Mac to forgive Cody and open his arms to having a son in his life, but Mac is bitter and steeled against him.
He doesn’t know how he can possibly trust Cody now, even though Cody has a reasonable explanation for why he kept their genetic ties a secret and was willing to come clean about those reasons no matter how bad they made him look. That has to count for something, right? Apparently, it does with Felicia, but not with Mac.
It sounds like Felicia’s patience is wearing thin waiting for Mac to come around to Cody on his own, and we’re going to hear about that this week.
General Hospital Spoilers — Wounded Pride
Part of Mac’s problem may be that his pride has taken a considerable hit by Cody keeping the truth from him — and for so long. Mac was over the moon when he thought he may have had a son.
He could feel that connection with Cody and was disheartened and confused when the DNA test came back saying they weren’t a match.
How could that be when Mac felt so drawn to Cody like they were meant to be in one another’s lives? Now, he’s so far removed from those feelings that he’s insisting he doesn’t want Cody in his life even though he is his son. Felicia just might have to remind Mac there is no room for pride in parenting.
GH Spoilers Tease They’ve Already Missed Out on So Much
Felicia may do well to remind Mac that he has already missed out on so many milestones with Cody. Missing more isn’t going to undo any damage or make anyone feel any better.
Mac is only punishing himself by not letting Cody be in his life. Getting back at him might feel good for the moment, but he’s really only doing this to try to protect his own heart.
If his family is okay with opening their arms to Cody, why can’t Mac be cool with it? He’s a bigger person than this normally, and Felicia knows that must mean he’s really hurting. But something’s got to give.
General Hospital Spoilers — Time is Ticking
Given that Mac has already missed out on Cody’s entire life as a child, it stands to reason that Felicia could play on any weakness Mac feels in that department for having missed out.
It may help him to realize that he doesn’t want to miss future milestones Cody may experience — like getting married or having children. Just imagine if Mac had missed all of that with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms)! Can Felicia change her hubby’s mind before Cody decides to skip town altogether? Stay tuned for more
